Making speech therapy accessible and convenient using telepractice

Accessible Speech-Language Pathology provides speech therapy services via telepractice to private pay clients physically located in Ontario, Canada, Prince Edward Island, Yukon, Northwest Territories, as well as in New York, Virginia, Florida, Arizona, and Minnesota at the time of their appointments and also to NYC DOE students who have related service authorizations. If you are physically in a different country and would like speech therapy services, please contact us and ask if it is possible to receive services from us, depending on the licensing laws and professional regulations in your country it may be possible to work with you!

Telepractice is an evidence based service modality that utilizes HIPAA and PHIPA compliant Zoom video conferencing software to connect the speech-language pathologist with the client in real time for speech therapy appointments. Loren Alexander MS CCC-SLP TSSLD Reg. CASLPO transitioned to providing services via telepractice in 2019. She loves how telepractice makes speech therapy accessible to clients who cannot commute to receive services, gives her time to serve more clients, and allows an opportunity for caregivers/loved ones to observe and participate in the sessions in order to maximize carry over of skills to the client’s daily life.
